how to use this site

Interface overview:

1: Site identifier / link to home

2: Side global navigation

3: Top global navigation The side and top navigation areas are functionally identical, and will serve the same purposes. Once one is in a particular section of the site (i.e. "the questions), the associated sub-pages for that section will appear in navigation.

4: Random glossary term Each of these terms that appear contain links to the main glossary page.

5: Login state / link to tracking information This was originally meant to be an indicator to the user regarding whether they were a "logged in user." However, as all users are currently being logged via cookie recognition, this images serves only to link the user to a page outlining the information the site has collected about them.

6: Current page category (non-functional) The original purpose of this area was to show the user the way the particular page they were viewing was categorized by the server. This proved to be a fairly useless piece of the interface, and will be removed or replaced in the next revision.
